
That's right...Del Parson. If you look closely, you can see the picture of Christ that he is famous for. He is the artist that the church hires to do their paintings most of the time. See other familiar works at http://www.delparson.com/
We were lucky enough to meet him during one of his signings at the BYU-I bookstore and it was a slow time, so we chatted away for probably 30 minutes (things you can do when the kids are with the babysitters--wow that was nice!) It was such a great visit--he is so approachable and very friendly. Nothing I expected for someone who I consider "famous" :)
Anyway--we somehow got up the courage to invite him to dinner--and we had a great time with him and his wife. More details later on our dinner conversation :)

ReplyDeletehaha, he's a great guy. He was the second counselor in my singles ward at Cedar City. For an FHE activity we went to his house and posed as the Mob. pretty fun.
