LOTS of Surprises!

Paco LOVED the surprise. The living room walls were painted, I bought some accent wall decorations, a small table, and a new lamp...all under $50 and in less than 50 hours! It was a lot of fun. I give all the credit to my friend Jen, who showed up unexpectedly with a paintbrush in her hand saying, okay--let's paint now. (it was noon) I had already scheduled some friends to come over that evening and paint--so I wasn't ready at noon....but she was! 2 1/2 hours later it was done--she is incredible. Plus, she's a paintaholic: her house has 13 different colors in it! :)

The pictures are on my friends camera--and I'm leaving for L.A. soon, so it'll be a while before you see the final verdict.


ONE MORE SURPRISE COMES IN 1 1/2 HOURS!!!!!!!!!

At 1:30 today I have my doctor's appointment to find out if we're having a girl or a boy. I AM SO EXCITED!!! Everyone and their dog tell me I'm having a girl, each for their own reasons, but I have no motherly inclinations one way or the other. In a way I think it could be a girl because the first trimester felt so different than Sammy's, but in a way I'm holding out for a boy so that Sammy can share his room with his little brother for the rest of his life and be "buddies." However, a girl sure seems to soften things up around the house--so I'd be totally okay with a cute little pink-dressed girl as well.
