I am already starting to receive phone calls and txt messages...and the answer is..Not Yet :)
Officially one week away from the "due date" and still measuring at ZERO :) haha I laugh because I can! No sense in getting frustrated over it, right? No big deal.
Common questions I'm getting...and their answers:
Q: Are you ready?
A: Yes, I think we are now. Blankets, clothes, burp clothes all washed and ready to go. We still haven't gotten a place for him to sleep...but working on that. :) haha
Q: Do you have a name for him?
A: I do, yes. Paco does, yes. But they are different names. I am stuck on James Alexander or Alexander James, and Paco is stuck on Benjamin. So..... who knows what it'll be!
Q: Are you having another C-Section?
A: No. I hope. I have been mentally and physically preparing for a VBAC (Vaginal Birth After C-Section) for months now and I think I'll be fine. I've read books, articles, talked to others who have done VBAC's, and overall done lots of research...but that's not to say a C-Section couldn't happen. As of right now, a backup C-Section is scheduled for November 3--which gives me 10 days to go overdue before they cut me open. With VBAC's you cannot be induced.
Q: How is Sammy dealing with it? Is he excited?
A: As much as he communicates verbally--he seems to be excited. Now that we have alot of the baby's stuff out and around the house, he points to it and asks, "For baby?" And I think he's gonna be a great big brother!
Q: Are you STILL going to the gym?
A: Yes!!! Are you kidding me? I racked up 3 miles yesterday and I'm pushing for more tomorrow! Like I told my friend tonight--I'm gonna push this baby out one way or the other! haha
So yeah--somehow between email/blog/text you guys will hear when the baby comes... so stay posted, I promise I won't leave you hanging till his first birthday! :)
Thanks for the update. Glad things seem to be going well. Hope everything continues that way.
