Thursday night and a bowl of ice cream

Two weeks have passed now, yet it feels like about two days. I can't believe how fast time is just sprinting by me. Life will never be the same.

Being a mom of two and recovering from a C-Section at the same time is more than I expected. However, I am constantly reminding myself that it could be worse.

Jacob is a real treat. He eats and sleeps very well and is a very low-maintenance baby. Sammy just loves his little brother and is sure to give him good night kisses before he goes to sleep. He is very cute with Jacob and it makes my heart melt!

I got them both down to sleep by 8:30 tonight and I decided to award myself with a bowl of ice cream and a relaxing evening updating my blog, even if it's just a little. (sorry no pics)

Thank you to all of you who have emailed, called, texted, etc. to check up on me. I am feeling much better and even went for a walk to my neighbors house today with both boys--call me adventurous! haha I have had lots of help and it has made ALL the difference in the world. I even have a sister from the ward coming over to help iron clothes and clean house for me...incredible. I hope I'm that nice someday :)

Now...I'm ready for bowl #2. Might as well enjoy it while I can! :)

  1. Christiny, I've been thinking of you, but figured you were busy in your new life with two. (Your comments scare me to death - if you say it's hard, how am I going to do it?) Glad you had them both down at 8:30. Please send me lessons. I can't even do that with Marcela.

  4. Too late! You are already that nice. I guess we will let you off the hook of super outgoing niceness for the past couple of weeks but you have plenty left over from before Jacob came! Love you tons!
