These past two days were pretty easy. Yesterday flew by and I didn't even feel hungry. Matter of fact, I think I only drank like 4 glasses of juice because we were so busy! Oh and in case you didn't read it on facebook...yes, we bought a Honda Odyssey yesterday. It's a bitter / sweet moment. I should make that a separate post...
Anyway...tomorrow I get to change things up a bit and drink Orange juice (fresh) instead of the lemon drink. I took a drink of OJ tonight (because I used up the very last bit of the maple syrup) and it was a refreshing change. Tomorrow should be fun. :) Then on Tuesday I can eat the broth of a fresh vegetable soup. Wednesday I can eat the rest of the soup. Thursday...it's TURKEY TIME! Actually they recommend you go to a veggie, fruit, nut diet after this....but yeah, I don't see that happening! haha I'm in charge of making the pies on Thursday too, we'll see how that goes.
Tonight I made a full-out dinner with ham, mashed potatoes, salad, and even made fresh rolls if you can believe that. And I couldn't even eat it....I LOVE ham! But by now, it's like my brain has already been trained not to taste things as I go. Needless to say, Paco had to add a lot of butter and salt to the mashed potatoes!! I am telling you this because yes, the cleanse is difficult, but not impossible. You can still cook, workout, go shopping, etc. and you survive.
All said and done...I'm anxious for Thursday now when it's REALLY over! :)
