For as long as I can remember, I have said I will never drive a minivan. I was upfront with Paco from the beginning that I would never buy one. At that point, he didn't seem to care much. But things quickly changed after Jacob came and Sammy got older. Strollers are bigger, sammy rides a bike now that we cart all over the place, we give rides to people for church every week, we give rides to kids from seminary to high school, we take people to the temple, heck we've even taken kids on vacation with us! haha And once Paco and I are in the car and both kids in the back...we can SQUEEZE a skinny person between the two car seats. Not fun, but do-able.
Anyway, I went up and down all the alternatives to minivans...and it's just not there. If you actually want to use the third row of seating you've got to undo carseats to get them in the back, you have zero space for putting anything bigger than one stroller, and anything extra you take has to go on the roof pretty much.
So yes, be it known I am still hesitant about driving it. It may take me a while before I actually do. I can't seem to let go of the Civic! So if any of you guys need a ride to the store--I've got plenty of space! hahaha
