Today my two boys, my beloved BOB stroller, Unborn Baby and my friend Diane Black and I ventured out onto an Almaden Quicksilver hike, the one we are using for the sweatin for sammy race. few things I learned today:
1. Should've left all of them at home, except for Diane. LOL Definitely was a tougher hike than imagined.
2. Now considering changing the race to a "no stroller" hike
3. Being outdoors and busy seems to make me forget about how nauseous and disgusting I feel
4. Sammy sure complains a lot. But he made it. He was forced to walk up the big hills because there was no way i was pushin his 45 pounds up those things!!
5. I need to go hiking more.
6. About 3/4 of the way through we passed a jogger who told us, "Just passed a huge snake right at the top of the hill...beware, but i think he's just a gardner snake" Oh gosh. i wanted to die. Forget about it--Sammy was ready to turn back. I pretended to be strong and act like it was no big deal. And, luck be had, we never encountered him. *WHEW*
7. I need to go hiking more...where there are no snakes. :)
