Running while pregnant has not been easy. My brain still runs on non-prego mode, so I am working on changing that. Besides that, it's been a little painful. I haven't calculated exactly what I am running, but I know I can get in at least 1/2 mile of running before I have to stop and walk because it hurts. I'm not sure what the pain is, but based on my conversation with the doctor it has something to do with muscles separating during pregnancy. Either way--no matter what I do--it hurts after about 1/2 mile.
The good news is that I am running! It makes my whole day to know that I've gotten in some sort of a run. I run to school with Sammy in the mornings and speed walk on my rests. Trying to get Jacob to keep up with my pace on his little Strider bike is a little challenging because he likes to "stop and smell the flowers" the whole way. LOL (not literally, but you know...snails, bugs, puddles, rocks...they all catch his eye and he wants to stop and see them). That's great and all..but hey..Mommy's got a workout to get in today. hahaha
Trying to get a workout in when the kids are awake is definitely a difficult task. Good for you for doing it anyway! Chase likes to randomly sit down in the middle of the sidewalk, road, parking lot, whatever. He just sits down and looks around like it's the best place to stop and take in the world around him. Silly kid. Love him to pieces. :)
